Hugh Jackman leaves ‘Cleo’
Hugh Jackman has removed himself from discussions to star in Steven Soderbergh’s Cleo, reports Variety. No deal had been signed as the ambitious 30 million dollar project is completing financing, but Soderbergh asked his Traffic Catherina Zeta-Jones to play Cleopatra and wanted new Oscar host Jackman to play her lover, the Roman general Marc Antony. Possible reason for the exit may be scheduling conflicts.
For some he is dead. For some he is alive and kicking. And for some he is floating around somewhere in eternal nothingness. I am referring to Tony Soprano, the legendary New Jersey mob boss, who carried the greatest show of our generation: THE SOPRANOS. It has been almost year and half since it ended with the ambiguous and over-analysed scene at Ice Cream Parlor Holsten’s. High time for a final take on the final take.
