Hong Kong action specialist John Woo directs one of the most stylized shoot-outs in his career and cinema history. Tough guy Mark (Chow Yun-Fat) takes revenge for the setup of his friend Ho. He walks in the Fung Lim Club and hides guns in several flowerpots along his exit hallway. Then he single-handedly takes on an entire triad clan, using the many hidden guns to shoot the baddies. It ends with Mark getting shot in the leg sustaining severe damage. The show-motion, superb choreography and brilliant squib effects make this one of the most exciting shoot-outs ever committed to celluloid.
