When Conan and travelling companions stumble upon a bunch of Cannibals that are cooking a man alive, Conan doesn’t hesitate to attack them. The first one is swiftly decapitated. Others follow but most of them wisely flee into the forest.
Since Arnold uses lot’s of guns normally, it is nice to see him use some other weaponry for a change. And he certainly knows how to handle a huge sword. As he and his friends attack the palace of Thulsa Doom, Conan hacks and cleaves many of the guards to shreds.
This is his second kill in the tunnel (and third in the movie…pussy). He takes revenge on the man who killed his family. Fire fighter Gordy Brewer throws an axe at the Wolf, which hits him in the chest, killing him.
Conan kills the uncontrollable monster Dagoth by ripping out the horn that gives it its strength. After that, he lands it a deathblow. Part of the credits for this kill go to Grace Jones and Conan’s sidekick for weakening the beast.
Arnie makes another impressive triple kill, while he is being attacked by the followers of terrorist leader Salim Abu Aziz. He kills the first two by using their swords on each other. The other one he snaps his neck.
The second wave, consisting of three men, is mowed down with a machine gun.
The last one manages to get the drop on Arnie’s wife. Arnie pretends to surrender by dropping his machine gun, but then turns around quickly and kills the baddie with his handgun.
An early scene in COMMANDO taking place right after Arnie’s daughter has been kidnapped. A negotiator tries to make a deal with him: ‘If you want your kid back, then you gotta cooperate, right?’ ‘Wrong.’ Bang!
Thulsa Doom leads his ‘Vanir’ Riders into action. They find the mounds laced with boobytraps set by Conan, who also uses a massive axe to knock the riders off their horses, slaying them medieval style.
This is a nice one. In a hospital, Russian cop Ivan Danko (Schwarzenegger) and his American partner Art Ridzik (James Belushi) find their witness murdered. The killer is a ‘nurse’ and a firefight ensues. Danko plugs ‘her’ and ‘she’ flies through a window. Then they find out she’s a guy.
Jack Slater always puts a few bullets in his closet when he comes in. Most of the times there is a killer in it. Like this time.
Mighty warrior Lord Kalidor (Schwarzenegger) proves to be a knight in white armor. He helps Sonja’s sister against the troops of Queen Gedren and slays several of them, even beheading one unfortunate soul.
Albeit with a little help, Conan nicely defeats hulking villain Rexor. With a few powerful blows, Conan puts him down forever.
Two terrorists want to kill Arnie in a hotel’s restroom. The first one gets shot to pieces, sneaking up on Arnold is never a smart idea. The second, more muscular terrorist…
…takes a serious beating from Arnie first and then gets shot by Salim Abu Aziz who enters the restroom blasting.
Right after he nailed a guy to a wooden wall, Schwarzenneger walks in on two surprised guerrillas and shoots them both after saying ‘knock knock’. The bearded Russian goes straight through the wall. The moustached central-American just goes down.
LAST ACTION HERO’S Danny envisions a Hamlet film starring Arnold in the title role. The voiceover goes; ‘Something is rotten in the state of Denmark and Hamlet is taking out the trash.’ Then Hamlet, before blowing up the castle, says; ‘To be or not to be. Not to be.’
John Kruger nails these two guys from below the floorboard. True John McClane style. Yippikajee motherfuckers!
ERASER may not be Schwarzenegger’s best flick, but these railguns are pretty sweet. Arnie uses them for the first time here to blast away the second wave of Deguerin’s guys.
John Kruger continues his railgun mayhem by blowing up four guys at the same time.
Jack Slater comes in through the window and shoots two guys using their own machineguns. Pretty fancy move.
An even better move is putting a dead man holding a machinegun under electricity making him shoot another goon.
This guy comes in and shoots Jack Slater (who is off course wearing a vest). Slater picks up a gun immediately and blows the guy into the air.
This bastard has kidnapped Arnie’s daughter. Big mistake. He gets off relatively easy though. Arnie shotguns him to death, through a window, and he plunges down below.
At the end of TOTAL RECALL, Arnie releases Cohaagen (Ronny Cox) onto Mars’ surface without a spacesuit. The result is so gruesome that this death must be included in this overview. The man’s eyes and his tong pop out for Christ’s sake.
